In 1979, Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press was founded by Beijing Foreign Studies University. In 2010, it completed restructuring and was renamed as Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press Co., Ltd. (FLTRP). The publications of this language education publisher range from various disciplines, Chinese language and culture, science, to children’s books. It is now one of the largest foreign language publishers and university presses in China.

FLTRP provides all-round, tailor-made educational solutions for children, primary and middle school students, college students and adults. Its publications cover teaching materials, reference books, foreign language periodicals, cultural materials on Chinese as a foreign language, cultural communication, and masterpieces written by famous scientists. Every year, FLTRP publishes over 5,000 books and periodicals, of which 1,000 are new books, and over 4,000 are reprinted books. Many publications have won outstanding international and domestic book awards. FLTRP is now a classic brand in the heart of numerous learners.
